caple wmi2004 (fagor) phantom problems!

HI folks,

I’m back looking at a caple (Fagor) integrated washer with some strange and very intermittent faults.
It occasionally makes a ‘grundgy’ noise and stops for 2 mins doing nothing, although the display is fine. This generally seems to occur during the rinses.
It sometimes stays on the same time for 5 mins although the cycle is in progress.
The cycle can take twice as long to complete.
The last spin cycle I watched completed after 10 mins but was already on 1 minute at the start of the spin!
Sounds like the work of gremlins…

Any thoughts/pointers much appreciated.
