    Hi

    The customer reported a problem with this unit that when it reaches temp it cuts out but fails to cut back in again. If they turn unit off and back on again it will start cooling until it reaches correct temp and it stops again. When I call I found no error codes on display but found that the fridge drain heater had burnt out. I have replaced this and evap cover but customer has reported that the original fault still remains.

    What have I missed???

    what sort of power supply does board have?
    if series cap power supply change it and see what happens

    Most likely thermal fuse or defrost heater fault.

    main culprit is the fridge drain heater – the little pink wires deteriate in the drain hole ..

    best changing – evap heater , thermal fuse and defo sensor as well

    Thanks for reply. I changed the drain heater and what a mess it was in. Will check the others on my return tomorrow.

    Best to get a complete evaporator it comes with the thermal fuse and sensor.

    Cheapest way to buy them all, and saves the heater getting damaged in transit.

    Just take the heater, sensor and fuse off the new evaporator and fit them.

    Watch your fingers the Evaporators are sharp.
