Looking for a 55cm W FS gas cooker – Cannon used to be a well known brand back in the day but like most brands nowadays I know it’s part of a portfolio for larger groups and is Indesit/Hotpoint & Co.

I’ve found a Cannon CH50GCI which is fairly cheap and fits the bill. At a higher end of the budget is the Electrolux EKG4120AOW.

How do they compare? Brand-wise and individual product? Worth forking out more for the Electrolux or not?

Any alternatives? Belling, Newworld, Leisure and Flavel are out for the fiasco over carbon monoxide poisoning (yes, specific models, but still…doesn’t inspire confidence in QA).

Any help and advice much appreciated!

    Hi

The cannon is a 50cm wide gas cooker so that makes it a one horse race 😉

The Electrolux is a good quality cooker from the same stable as Zanussi who produce the ZCG55QGW which is the same machine but without the clock timer.
