ParticipantGood evening folks, today of all days (Mothers Day) the dishwasher decided to stop working properly and I am now getting the above error code. I’m led to think (by looking around a bit that this is something to do with the optical water sensor or the pressure switch)?
If not, then what could the problem be and how easy is it to resolve?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.Stu
P.s I had to leave the wife/mother of the kids to do manual washing up as I had to come to work on nightshift so feel pretty bad.

A bit more info, it beeps continuously when the error occurs and flashes 11 times, I reset this by holding the start button down and restart the wash cycle, the sump pump kicks in, gurgles, i hear water start to drain away (i put water in manually to see if the pump was actually pumping) then after a few minutes the beeping starts and the cycle goes to rinse mode and flashes 11 times.
Cheers.Stu

If i’m reading this error code thing correctly, then I assume that a Optical Water Indicator is not a flow meter but something which checks the condition of the water, e.g dirtiness/conductivity. Would that be a correct assumption?
Cheers,
Stu

Yes correct. It is also referred to as a Turbidity Sensor.

Cheers,
So what is the part that I need to sort my dishwasher out then please? Or should I try some things before buying the part?
Many thanks,
Stu

Ordered a new pressure switch, seems easy enough to replace after finding a tutorial on YouTube so once I’ve replaced it, I’ll let you know if it’s a success or not.
Cheers,

Right folks! I’ve replaced the sensor and it’s still beeping and flashing 11 times, what next?

well reading the text above it seem he replaced the pressure switch which is not the turbidity sensor so its not going to cure the fault
the fault either lies with this sensor or the control board I would think but Martin may confirm that
As you can see we got no more feedback from Bigstu07
