    Hi

    My Hygena/Diplomat APM6852 Fridge Freezer is malfunctioning;

    Power is on, lights up when fridge door opened, green light is on on thermostat controller, I can hear motor humming as usual.

    Turn Thermostat down to off, motor stops (as one would expect). Turn it back up and motor comes back on.

    However fridge and freezer are not cooling.

    Has anyone any ideas?

    Many thanks

    Rob

    If the compressor is running and fridge and freezer not cooling it is the compressor not pumping correctly or it has lost the refrigerant due to a leak.

    Due to the age of the APM6852 it is best to replace it with a new built in fridge freezer.

    Hi,
    I have the same problem – did you find a replacement fridge/freezer that fits the doors? Would really appreciate some help as I don’t want to have to re-fit the whole kitchen just ‘cos the Fridge/freezer has had it’s last day!
    Many Thanks,
    A
