Morning folks,
This is my own fridge freezer and it’s working fine but would like dismantling instructions and any other info to hand just in case, if anyone can help.
My cousin has also got the same appliance and he has had a few issues so said I would enquire.

They don’t do “dismantling instructions” or even service manuals on fridges. Just the odd service bulletin and a wiring diagram. If you would like a wiring diagram then I would need the full 11digits of the PNC number.

There are only 9 digits that’s the full number on this one. Yes any service bulletin or wiring diagram would be useful. There is a small diagram on the back of the fridge,but would prefer not to have to use a magnifying glass!

Sorry to butt in on a thread but I have an issue with one, in that the freezer works fine, even icing clear drain hole and a nice powerful fan. The fridge on the other hand is lovley and warm, cant feel any air from the vents. I tried taping over the vents in the freezer to see if I could force air inro the fridge, but no. 48 hr defrost and try again was the order of the day , if still no success, any ideas?

I don’t do much at all with refrigeration but I have one of these at home. There has definitely been a modification to these though. I think it involves different defrost heaters and an increased defrost time. I’m sure one or two of the guys on here will have carried out the mod. Let me know if you find out in case mine goes! Been ok so far.

Yes there is a modification to this it consists of an uprated heater , timer which has gone from 8 hours to 6 hours , defrost stick , polystyrene blocks which fit either side of the evaporator and a foam seal which fits around the top air duct entrance in the freezer they insist all parts must be fitted and it thouroghly defrosted for it to work . There is no kit part number so all parts have to be ordered seperatly . It’s straight forward to work on so you shouldn’t get into any bother.

The duct from freezer to fridge gets snowy frosting which eventually covers over the duct preventing air going up to fridge. Best to remove evap’ cover from back of freezer, take out screws securing the cover, 2 at top & clip to be detached on right hand side. With this off cover of evap’ that holds fan needs to be taken off. Once this has been edged off a bit take out fan connecting plug from top and all comes away leaving access to evap’ & defrost heaters, etc. Bottom left hand side of evap’ on rear wall theres a duct up to fridge, make sure this if free of frosting. Use a hairdryer and a strong ty-rap to poke up through it to shift any frost build up. Defrost timer is mounted at back just above compressor, best to change it to new longer defrost timed one & drain heater is now a higher wattage too. If fan is sluggish & most times they are, stick one in too.
