    Hi,
My TKL9909 is starting to sound like a plane taking off when going to spin cycle. I’m guessing the bearings are on their way out and need replacing.
First is anyone able to confirm if this is likley to be correct.
Secondly, would anyone know if the drum is sealed in such a way it cannot be taken apart to replace the bearing. Engineer I just spoke to seems to think the whole drum needs replacing, therefore cheaper to replace the machine?? 😕
Happy to do the job myself if cost efficent.
    Cheers
    Rob

sound like you may be right

if you take belt off machine and spin drum it should be silent if not then bearings going

from what i can see you can get the bearing but to confirm take the top off and look at the drum. if it has clips or screw going around the drum then it should split and therfore can be repaired

parts wont be that dear but it could be a long job as dont think the case front comes off so whole drum has to be taken out through the top. that means all the part on it and around it have to be taken off first

maybe someone else can confirm this

Thanks, Have had the back and the top off.
yes get a rumble as I spin the drum.
the drum does have screws round the middle.
Found bearing kit for it but cannot see any new rubber seal when putting drum back together.
