I was planning on buying a Bush cooker from Argos today, it’s £389 but has £100 off so thought it should be ok as not too cheap. After a bit of research it looks like Bush is not a good brand to buy?!

My other options are beko,Belling, indesit or possible new world or hot point..

Can anyone please give advice on the best brand?

    Thanks

There’s a reason why they are taking nearly a third off the price!!

If you purchase it, pay for the extra cover, then when it breaks down for the fourth time , 6 weeks after the initial guarantee runs out, you will at least get another unit!

Ahhhh good bit of marketing by the marketing boys yet again, starting with an over inflated price, which would probably have been achieved by one store having it at £389 for the last month. Then go out as an Easter special nationwide at £289 yea right.

To some it would look like retailers are making a lot of money everytime they sell a product after all if they can afford to slash a £100 and still make money……………… I don’t think so the margins are so small these days.

Just to put that so called offer into perspective we are a one shop independent retailer. We stock the Beko equivalent DC5422 in stainless steel which is better than the Bush at £279.00 and that’s our normal selling price!!!!

My advice seek out your’e local independent retailer, where you will get value and service.

    HTH 🙂
