    Hi,

Our venerable but useful Panasonic NN3500 microwave combination oven started sparking badly from the wave guide cover. The cover was burnt through and on removal the antenna cap was charred. Obviously time for a new magnetron. The part installed is a 2M210-M1C26 which is now out of production.

Can anyone recommend a source or a compatible replacement?
Or supply any information on the differences between any of the M1 subtypes (M1C, M1E, etc)?

    Thanks,

    Zeb

BTW Have already read on-line about safe working with the HV circuits and microwaves sources.

Replacement 2M210M1-J mag sourced from eBay (grr_price-attack) and replacement waveguide cover material from Amazon (One Stop Sat Shop). All refitted and working OK.

Hat tip to Patrick for the advice.
