ParticipantHi, smeg sy92ipx8 range cooker, hob ok,right side oven ok. Main oven not working because clock can’t be set 😕 Autocook Aand flashes0000 in display ❗ can set time which stays on for a few secs,then reverts back to. 0000, thought clock was faulty so fitted new, with same result. Any ideas ❓ wiring diagram would be helpful. Thanks

If your new clock also keeps reseting look at the power to your clock from the terminal block or even power from your cooker switch.That is where i would start.

Power to clock is ok, can’t by pass it either! There is a couple of grey wires that connect to the clock that must connect to some sensor or something? Maybe that sensor is faulty?…. Problem is that it’s in a very busy cafe 60 miles away, so don’t want to going to and fro, hopefully someone might have a diagram

Have you checked out how to set the clock from the user instructions?
( i.e Press the 2nd & 3rd buttons in together whilst pressing the plus or minus button to increase or decrease the time setting)

It’s not a problem about just”setting the clock” it seems to be a problem that the cooker thinks auto cook is set. Now whether the 2 grey wires connected to the timer , maybe control some sensor that’s gone faulty, the aid of a diagram might help

Have you read page 20 of the user instructions ‘Deleting the set data’ ?
