    Having read the front page article on indesit dishwasher fires…

    Are there any Merloni engineers out there who can pinpoint what was causing this effect. The consequences for us is that we will see these appliances for insurance companies in the future and it would be nice to know how to stop it toasting my business.
    Suppose I could always refuse to work on that model until Indesit came clean. Suppose we all could! Oh, its a D63.

    theres a kit that indesit fse have to fit which comprises of a new felt panel and some boots to fit on the element terminals, also removing the side felt panels.
    so poss due to the m/c leaking (as they do) and felt conducting en vola! fire!!
