Can anybody tell me what this code means (F7). Sometimes the dishwasher is ok, other times it comes up F7 afer the initial drain before the wash cycle. I have also found that if I put some water in the machine before it starts, again sometimes this seems to be a quick fix.

Sounds like it has a problem filling up, check that the tap is turned on fully and the fill hose isn’t kinked

Thats interesting, while I purchased it secondhand 5 months ago the salt compartment is still half full. We use the machine maybe 5 times a week. I will check your suggestion. Thanks, Paul

Hiya, F7 indicates a flow meter failure. Basically, the meter “counts” the water coming in, it is compared with the amount registered with the pressure switch, if both agree it continues normally, if there is a “disagreement” it aborts and brings up an alarm.
It is possibly a faulty pressure switch, faulty flow meter, bad connection or if you’re really unlucky, it’s bringing up a false alarm code, i.e. you have a fault but not the one being indicated.
Before you remove any panels to check, please pull the plug.

there also a pressure switch in the sump area which might need cleaned…. not a fault that the user can fix.am afraid…
