Miele 8826 WP

Does anyone have the Miele 8826 WP tumble Dryer?

We have had one for almost 1.6 years and a typical half load takes up to 3 or more cycles to dry (6 or more hrs)!!! After the first run (2hrs) the clothes are very warm to touch but damp, almost like just out of the washing machine.

As this is our first tumble dryer and an eco model, I thought this to me normal –
Over the weekend I used my inlaws new Bosch energy rated A++ and 1 cycle (1.3hrs) dried the washing.

Miele engineer came today to check it out and could not find any faults.
He did his own test of a damp tea towel, but this doesn’t compare to a wash load.
Kept going on about the obvious of having the right settings selected – tried all that and same results.

Be good to know if anyone else has the same problem.
