ParticipantGood evening, first post and all that.
I have bought a new property that will need a new kitchen including white goods.
I have a F&F discount from BSH home appliances SiemensBoschNeff and wanted some advice. In my current house I have a maninly Siemens kit:
SIEMENS XLM 1200 Extraklasse white washimg machine (bought 2003)
Siemens SE26A260GB FD 8212 Dishwasher (bought 2003)
Siemens 750.50B Oven Pyroclean (bought 2008)
Siemens eh775001e induction hob (bought 2008)All still work well and not given me a problem since purchased.
I want to buy a similar standard of Kit but the prices vary across their range and wanted to know which models are worth it.
I guess the hardware across brands is mostly the same and you would be paying extra for the siemens name above the equivalent Bosch.
No doubt I am wrong and i am happy to be put right.
My budget is:
£500 for Induction hob
£500 for Washing machine
£500 for double oven (don’t fancy a built under)
£400 for Dishwasher
I plan to by an American Fridge freezer and they seem to vary in price model wise. All advice welcome.

Just buy Siemens all over again. It’s top of the range stuff (above Bosch) and have longer guarantees……way to go!

Thanks for the reply.
Siemens has quite an extensive range and the price varies where the top of the range stuff is more than twice the price as the entry level stuff.
The Siemens gear I have was near the bottom of the range when I bought it . Is the bottom mid-range still good or should i sheel out the extra beans on the higher range stuff.
I have seem discussions on the typs of drum constructions across and within manaufacturers 🙂

The old saying “…….you only get what you pay for.” applies these days more than years ago. So the obvious answer is go for those extra beans in the true and certain knowledge the drum is fixable. The quality is guaranteed for longer so you can figure from that they don’t fail as often. 😉

Thanks for the reply.
These are the appliences I am currently considering:
Hood LF98BC540B
Hob EH875MP17E
Oven HB78GB590B
Coffee TK76K573GB
Steam HB36D575B
W/draw HW1405P2B
Mic/oven combi HB86P575P
Dishwasher SN66T197GB
Washing machine WM14Y591GB
Tumble dryer WT48Y700GBMost are pretty high range Siemens stuff and was wondering if I could get cheaper alternative models without any noticable loss of features.
I am considering the 5 ring hob which is the same dimentions bus slightly cheaper (IQ-500 EH875FM27E).
Are there any other models i can substitute for a cheaper model?
