    I have a Hotpoint FZFM171 freezer that has developed a fault.
    The freezer is silent, non functioning, not cooling.
    It is flashing all three lights.
    I’ve tried defrosting.
    I’ve tried turning off for several days then turning on, with dial in “OFF Alarm Reset” position.

    Quick update on this:

    It turns out if you leave it on for a bit it does cool, but only to approx 0 degrees, so water is slushy.

    I think this is the state where it holds partially thawed food rather than re-freezing for food safety.

    However, I cannot get it out of this state.
