    A quick bit of advice please.

    I’ve recently had a couple of enquiries regarding heating faults on this machine (or a machine of this design in its integrated version). Quick tests have shown that the heater is open circuit. This design of machine is the newer Bosch type which seems slightly more modular that the old type. On this type the heater unit is part of the main pump assembly.

    My questions are;

    1) How easy are these units to change?

    And

    2) Must the main pump be changed at the same time? Or is it possible to get separate parts and just change the heater unit?

    Cheers,
    Steve – ATY

    First one is a bitch but it gets easier with each successive……

    No.

    P.s. Post technical questions in Trade Technical rather than General. Keeps all that stuff in one place you see? 😉

    If you would like a service manual on these crap machines then email me (remind me what you want in the email)

    So what is the technique? Work from the front reaching inside the base inclosure?

    All will soon be revealed, meanwhile a good grasp of a few German swear words will help make the eventual task much easier. 😉
