    After some advice. Our Hoover HNL6166 has stopped draining water mid cycle. Have checked for blockages in all the drains and fluff filter – found nothing. Removed the spinner pump and had tested. Spinning when tested out of machine. Motor removed. Brushes have wear consistent with a number of years use but still appear to have decent amount of life remaining. Suggestions of where to next direct attention would be appreciated.

    Sump hose ball valve? Drain hose coupling to sink? (If fitted) Coin stuck in outlet port of pump or inside the drain hose? (A 5p coin makes a perfect flap valve)
