Hello my FDW60 will run part of a normal cycle but stop before drying. It has the eco & prewash lights flashing as well as the salt light(although there is salt in the machine). Things were clean but not dry. It has now stopped cleaning the bottom rack as well. I have opened the door during a cycle & it looks like the lower spray arm is not rotating. I don’t know if these are two seperate problems or are connected.

    any help would be appreciated

    Steve

The salt light is possibly just a spurious error, not a fault code at all.

The lights you have flashing indicate a fill problem.

Poor water pressure, inlet valve, connections,
    timer, water turbine.

The water fill turbine is a common cause and poor fill will cause poor wash.

Iadom, thank you for this. I am still getting the top rack clean (although not dry). Would I get this if the problem is to do with filling? If it is the the water fill turbine are we talking about replacement or is it fixable? When I looked at new pumps online the ones I found were £100+

    thank you

Selecting half load should only wash the upper basket.

Water turbine is around £17.50 but is not fitted to all models, some have the turbine incorporated into the air break chamber.

Full model number, serial number and any other numbers you can find on the rating plate needed to identify correct model.
