    Hello!

I was using this earlier today, all fine, now switched it on and nothing!

The green light above the knob to select what part of the oven you want to use does work. The fan does come on and the light.
However the amber light for the oven temperature does not come on when you turn the temperature knob, you can hear the thermostat click when you turn it round but the oven is not heating.

Is this the oven heating element or is it the thermostat? I live in a rented property and I am not sure if white goods are covered so I am going to do this myself.
I cant find the user manuals on the net- the one website I did find, the manual would not load.

    Thanks for your help

    Vicky

Check first that you haven’t accidentally set the oven timer to ‘Auto’ (if so switch it back to ‘Manual’)

Don’t mess with it beyond that without confirming first if your landlord is responsible for fixtures and fittings including your oven. 😉

    Hello Martin,

Apologies I thought I would have had a notification of a reply but never did.
I still have not sorted it and have been using a halogen oven,
there is no ‘auto’ on the oven? Any other suggestions? 🙂

Thankyou for your reply though 🙂

Have you checked with your landlord to see if it is him / her who covers it or the responsibility is on yourself?.
Sounds like your element, but could be a number of other things, you need to test it with the appropriate test equipment to be sure. If you’ve never done anything like this and you have not got the appropriate test equipment I would advise you get someone in to do it.
