    Our Diplomat Dishwasher has packed up this weekend 😥 and is showing the error code F4. I have checked the hoses and there is no blockages, but the unit fills up with water and then shuts down. I empty the unit manually, but it switches off after 2 – 3 minutes. Any ideas what this error codes means? I have an engineer organised for this evening but would like an idea of what is wrong before he turns up.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

    F4 error is a “not draining” problem, which may not be accurate always to be honest.

    Check all the usuals like the filters and drain outlet etc, apart from that you’ll most likely need an engineer.

    For your info also, this particular model is made by Whirlpool 😉

    thanks for the quick reply and information. I think I will completly removed the drainage pipe to double check for blockages before calling an engineer in. Thanks again

    The Engineer fixed the problem last night. There was a small piece of glass jammed in the water pump. Thanks again for the help from this great forum
