    We live in Cornwall and we think we might like to buy a Liebherr fridge freezer but want to check design/layout and size to try and work out which one will be best for us.

    Unfortunately we do not seem able to find even one in ‘the flesh’ as it seems there is only one white goods showroom left in our area, i.e. Currys in Truro.

    This is since the demise of Comet and also sadly our local independent mini-chain ETS who were great, but went bust in 2011 after half a century of trading: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-13456591

    We went in to Currys last weekend and they had no Liebherrs on display, despite there being some on the website, in fact the 14 year old salesman had not heard of them.

    Have you tried Nigel at http://www.kitchenkitsw.com/ he’s in Truro? He’s a Liebherr approved stockist.

    Thanks Don 😀 I had never heard of them, and Googling did not find them either, but they are just off my route home from work so I might drop by in an hour.

    Brilliant- I did call in and he did not have the exact models but was able to give a clear indication of size and show me other Liebherr fridges- his prices are within about £5 of anywhere on line and he is a local supplier who will take away our old appliance for nothing, so he will get our business (but not for a month or so, have to save up and hope our faltering Zanussi holds together for just a little bit longer).

    He also supplies the Smeg cooker my OH is interested in, but that is approaching £1K and our current cooker still cooks so she is going to have to wait a good while for that one…
