ParticipantCan anyone Help ? I have a Hoover WDM 120 (washer /dryer) and there is no drum action on either the wash cycle or drying cycle???
I have renewed the BRUSHES & changed the MODULE stilll made no difference the only other thing I can think of is the motor might be gone ?PS. the machine fills up with water and drains no problem & if I set it to dryer the fan motor of the dryer works ok
any help or advice much appreciated

Indeed most likely is the motor, they do tend to get a bit hot 🙁 . What is the state of its Armature like? Have you checked its insulation?

ParticipantTacho coil failure – electronics will not activate motor as it is “missing”. Check coil on end of motor.

My goodness yes! The MODULE is the very thing that powers the motor after all. The relays on the PCB are big trouble in themselves, so a close inspection is called for there, but even with no apparent damage it could be duff 🙁
A new one (Part No 91200606) will set you back around £45 – £47

ParticipantSo……… Continuity check through loom from module would be the next logical step. Leave plugged in at motor end, check for the connected pairs at the module end ( 2 x 4/5ohms, 1 x 150-220 ohms). Beyond that, I can only suggest getting in some pro help.
Pull the plug first……… :plug:
