Hi all. Had a quick look at this dishwasher. Not had much history of these. There’s power to the machine.Prog display illuminated when powered on at wall socket. The on/off switch (tested) doesn’t turn off the machine. Pressing the start button doesn’t start the prog. I noticed a faint electrical smell (like the old cap gun toys of the past) coming from inside the base. Checked the power module for any signs of burning, but ok. Heater circuit values check out ok. Not sure about the motor and pump circuits, but no earth readings present. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, Ordered pcb and fitted today. Tested first that the on/off function worked ok. Started machine on a quick wash. Machine then displayed E11 (ntc fault). Now machine is acting exactly as before with original pcb. Do these machines “lock up” when a fault is detected like the washing machines do until the fault is cleared? I’m assuming the ntc is integrated into the heat pump. What is the sensor that sits above the drain pump? Cheers Rick

Oh dear! It sounds like the heat pump MAY have stuffed the new module. The device above the drain pump? Not sure without looking at the parts schematic but as a guess the Turbidity sensor, if fitted on this model?

Thanks for the feedback Martin. I’ve visually checked both pcbs for damage and seem ok . Have re-fitted original pcb and the machine filled, washed, heated and pumped out when I cancelled prog. Still wasn’t able to turn machine off at on/off switch though. This works random. Sometimes it works, sometimes the machine flashes a programme light and nothing else. Have you any info on these heatpump models that may help.
