    I suspect that the carbon brushes are getting worn out. The motor gets very hot, and the thermal cut-out operates after a few minutes use. The hoses and filters are not blocked.
    How can I locate the part number of the brushes, to ensure I get ones that will fit?
    The uk whitegoods website shows me a picture of carbon brushes, but seems unable to recognise the model number MCE3002. Is there a particular format in which this needs to be typed?

    Hi Chris


    No brushes available that I’m aware of only complete motor I’m afraid. Price of the motor is about the same as a new machine.
