    Hello,

    I have a Liebherr fridge / freezer with these details:
    ICBS 3156 – Index 20/01
    Service Nr: 9987026-0

    Since this morning it complains about the F2 fault.
    I tried to turn the fridge off and back on but the display shows this intermittent F2 alarm again, as well as ringing a beeping alarm.

    I am not sure what I need to do, I have seen on this forum that this could be related to an air-sensor part. However I would like to know how complicated it will be to replace and which part I would actually need to order.
    Could you please shed some light on this ?

    Hello f2 refers to the evaporator sensor in the fridge. Without the tech info in front of me, I don’t know if this is a foamed in sensor, or one that you can see.
    If it’s foamed in, it’s replaceable with a kit and a little more involved. If there is a sensor on the evaporator then you’ll need 9590142 sensor repair kit and it’s an easier job.

    just had a look and the part you need is 9590142.
    the fridge evaporator sensor is behind the back panel in the fridge and it’s the sensor that is flush to the back wall.
    fitting instructions come with the sensor.
