ParticipantHi Folks,
Hoover DST10146P , it does the first water fill on drawer 1 ok then switches to compartment 2 in the soap drawer,.. and just keeps filling !!!!
I’ve had all the pipes off to check there are no blockages and can hear the pressure switch click when I blow into the small tube that connects to it.
Can anyone help ?

I had thought that, but then it does the first prewash fill ok then just keeps going on the second one. ?
If it was an air leak,. wouldn’t it just keep filling on the first one ?

True.
The air chamber attached to the tub is a caution and prone to getting gunged up. Difficult to access too. Not error codes show on the display I suppose?

Initial fill could also be timed as opposed to pressure switch controlled.

Well E02 is a fill error anyway. You let me know what “others” show up, meanwhile check out that air chamber attached to the tub.

I traced the tube from the pressure switch to find the chamber, but it goes straight into the drum ! Our old one had a bottle thing on the side !
Does this model have it inside the drum ? or is it straight to the pressure switch ?

Yes it’s a chamber moulded into the drum. I use a large syringe to flush it out.

Flushed it.,, a little resistance to start with but fine.
Started the washing machine again,. and same thing.,, does the first little fill of water into drawer (1) stops., then goes onto fill from drawer (2) and just keep going,.. and going,., and going ! I had to stop it myself as it was 3/4 way up the glass.
So…, now what ?

Replace the pressure switch and double (treble) check the air hose is not punctured. It is one or the other.

Pressure switch changed., hose checked.,, and STIIL THE SAME 🙁
Doing the first fill of water.,, stopping then going onto the second fill and just keeping going until error E02 shows !

Try clipping of the ends of the pressure pipe, about 1cm at each end then connect back with the spring clips,The pipe will then fit tight.
let me know how you go on. -
