ParticipantHope someone can help
We have a Creda built in electric oven, model number 48148V.
Noticed the other day a strange fluctuating noise coming from control panel, quite annoying as it caused interference on the radio.
The oven was still working fine so ignored.
The noise stopped.
But yesterday the grill would light up but was producing hardly any heat and kept turning on and off.
Today the grill is not working at all.
Does anyone know what part has failed?

Hi Thanks for your reply.
Have just had a look, the fan seems to be working, can feel the hot air being expelled from the front slots and can hear the sound of the fan. The grill has started working again, although the same as yesterday, coming on then going off quite quickly.

Having read previous posts with similar problem it sounds like the grills energy regulator.
Could anyone suggest which part number that would be?May 27, 2014 at 2:32 pm #414392iadom

Two different ones fitted,
Diamond H is C00234836
Strix is C00236014.I think that Diamond H are no longer making regulators so it may come with a different one but often without any wiring instructions.

Thanks for the reply,
I was on the brink of ordering, just wondered if you know if there is any difference between the 48148 and the 48148V.
Also if you have any idea how hard this will be to fit.
Really appreciate the help.May 28, 2014 at 1:14 pm #414394iadom

The ‘V’ does not even register on the official Partfinder software so it doesn’t matter.
As mentioned above you need to check exactly which switch you have before ordering.
I have no idea of your capabilities so it would be hard for me to advise on the level of difficulty.
You must ensure the power is turned off at all times before removing anything.

Just wanted to update.
Have replaced regulator with part supplied by uk whitegoods.
After much scratching of head, figured out that the instructions supplied didn’t work in this case.
Looked up the strix regulator on google and found a diagram indicating the supply live and neutral and the load.
Then found a diagram for the Diamond H 41ER101C1P I was replacing it with.
From there I was able to figure out the following:
load live: 2 (single yellow)
load neutral: 4a (single black)
supply live: p1 (double yellow)
supply neutral: 4a (double black)This worked in my case, hopefully it might help someone else.

Forgot to thank all at uk whitegoods.
