Hi,
I am looking to identify & replace the transistor driving the detergent dispenser drawer release solenoid on my Brother’s Indesit DIF 16.
The transistor in question (Q008 on Control PCB AL130-00154-6) has been blown by a faulty solenoid, there is a physical hole in the flat surface where the ID numbers used to be, so I am unable to identify it and searches for circuit board schematics have proven fruitless.
The solenoid has been replaced with a new functioning one.
We do not want to spend the £70+ to replace the Control PCB.
Both my brother & I have the skills & tools needed to replace the transistor once we identify a suitable replacement (Exact or equivilant).Can someone here supply part number for either exact part or a suitable equivilent?
I have 25 yrs of troubleshooting electrical & electronic control systems to board level offshore in the ROV sector of the Oil Business but, identifying suitable discrete components is beyond my knowledge .

Unless we actually have a good pcb in our hand we would not know either. There is no board/ component level information given out by the manufacturers, even to their own engineers.
NB. you cannot just replace the pcb in this machine, it has to be programmed first. 😉
