Samsung Washer WF8702RSW “TE2” Fault

Have not been to see this yet but customer said it shows TE2 error. TE is thermistor apparently. Looked up parts and there are 2 showing, the usual one that fits in the heater and another. What is this one? It’s for a friend and he lives quite a distance so want to do it in one go, so any advice would be helpful.

It’s a broken wire in the thermistor plug on the air refresh unit
