Candy Dryer fan melted?

Model GOV58F. 3110036609330182.

The dryer fan has melted on one side. Customer insists she does not stop the machine mid cycle and I would have expected the TOC to cut out before it got too hot???

Anyone come across this or is anything known about this fault?

I’ve not come across this before Jim. I can only imagine the motor stopped (capacitor fault) and the heater switched to the ‘cheese on toast’ setting. Though, as you say the microtemp TOC should have kicked in earlier.

One for the trebuchet maybe? 😀
