    and not heating. Suspect main control board or inverter.

    Mag ok as far as I can tell.

    During the eight seconds it runs there is:

    Mains voltage to inverter input

    4.69 V DC between brwn/white and blue/white, and between 0.1 and 0.7 V DC between brown and blue of inverter control terminal.

    On Panasonic models I believe there should be about 3v AC between brown and blue of inverter control signal. Anyone have any info on testing these I’d be v grateful.

    all that’s happening is the mag is not starting.
    on these units if the invertor does not detect mag start it shuts it down

    its going to be the mag or invertor. I would swop the mag first and see what happens

    cheapest place I found for invertors so far is ebay. user in Scotland

    Hi Dave,

    You were absolutely right – the mag was burned out. All sorted now. Thanks for nudging me in the right direction and for the Ebay info.
