ParticipantI have spent all morning trying to figure out how to access this drain pump. The filter assembly is broken and that has jammed the pump. Don’t know what caused the microfilter to break up.
I’ve looked through many pages of this forum, without any success.
However, I do know the fix is here as I had an identical problem many years ago with this pump. The impeller was stuck by an elastic band. Never found out how that got there. Maybe on a chicken wing to stop it flying away.
The only instructions I wrote down then was to remove pump cover with 1 – T20 screw. So please help Martin. I’m desperate as wifey wants to call in the white vanman.
This is the data on the label:

5600043801.Thanks in advance.

Hi John, If you empty the sump of any water that is left in there you will see the T20 screw towards the left hand side, once this is removed the plastic cover will lift up from the rear towards the front, once this is removed you will find your pump impellor and hopefully your problem

The pump cannot be accessed in the way described above. Access is tricky at best via removal of the front kick panel. Also made easier having removed the outer door opened first. Little room to manoeuvre once these panels are removed and great care should be taken avoiding disturbing the electrics OR flooding the base tray.
Tread carefully or better still call in a local independent expert to sort it for you. 💡

Hi guys and thanks very much for your rapid responses. Apologies for my tardy reply as work commitments had priority.
From a previous problem with the pump I repaired it via access from the door kick panel. It was so long ago I have totally forgotten how I approached it.
Anyway, i have just checked the pump and found no debris there. Replaced it and switched on and herd a rattling noise which turned out to be the pump running dry. So I poured some water into the washer and started again. Pump works fine, but the water did not exit the unit. I don’t know where the blockage is and the hoses have quite a long run of 4/5 metres without joints for me to check.
I am lost as to what programme to run to ensure the water is being delivered to the washer and to ensure the pump is working. How can I completely remove the pump to check if there is a leakage from the discharge tube?
Any further suggestions guys? If this lasts any longer I will have to start cooking AND washing up.
Thanks again for you help and do have a good weekend,
John
