Ive been having many issues with my dishwasher, but the latest one is that when you start a cycle it fills fine, but when it starts pumping water, at somepoint it will just stop.
All the lights stay on, the timer continues to count down, but just no pumping.
If I open the door and shut it again, sometimes it will start and cut out again after some random period of time, sometimes it wont start at all and I have to repeat this door open / shut process 3 /4 times before it will start again.
Sometimes once its started it will completely finish, other times it has to be “nursed through” to the end.
It drains fine, and heats fine.

Last night I checked voltage to the motor whist it was running, and when it cuts out the voltage also goes.

This leads me to think it must be the main control board thats duff?

I have already tried shorting the door switch to see if its that that is causing the cut out, but that didnt seem to make any difference.

Any opinions or suggestions before I order a new board?

    Thanks!

    Hi

Have you checked the wiring below the door ?

Do you mean inasmuch as has it frayed or split?

I know there is a bigish bundle of control wires going from the pcb through the bottom of the door to the respective components.

I have had a cursory glance at that, but not in real depth, do you think that if one of those wires has split or frayed that might be the cause?

    Thanks

Ok thanks for the suggestion – I’ll check that.

Would you say that if the wiring is all ok, then its likely to be the main pcb?

    Thanks!
