Have come home a few times in the last weeks to find the electrics in the kitchen have tripped out. This evening it appears the Bosch is the culprit as I have reset the electric but cannot get the machine to spin out – It will drain, fill etc but the drum does no longer moves and when you set a program the time might be 2 hours something but within a minute it drops quite drastically but still won’t spin.

Machine is about 6 years old so not sure whether to look at a Miele with a 10 year warranty working out at £89 a year, an ISE machine for the same kind of money but is there local support or do I have this repaired on the Bosch scheme for £14 a month x 12 months = £168 which then guarantees the repair for a year and if it dies and is uneconomical to repair they will replace with a new one.

Is it fixable – just think it might be time for a new machine, This one has done a god job and taken some use. Would welcome a professional opinion

    Many thanks

    Andy

Thanks Martin, Any idea what sort of money will this cost? As its an older machine is it worth it spending the money on it or buy a new machine. Costco have a Maytag MWA10149 for £480 with a 10 year guarantee – problem is I cannot find any reviews of it to know whether it is a reliable machine producing decent results.

Martin you are a star. I have just watched a video on you tube which shows how to change them on a Bosch machine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_r8d93xPYw&feature=kp and I can do that!

If I buy them from the shop here http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/12bs07-w … on-brushes for £9.38 – you just saved me a fortune.

Thank you so much for your help – of course if you are wrong !!!! LOL

    Many thanks

    Andy
