    Hi,

    I Recently purchased a 41004399 Candy & Hoover defrost sensor.
    The existing sensor was open circuit so I replaced it. Can you please tell me if the new sensor is NTC or PTC.
    I’ve measured the resistance on the new sensor and I’m only reading my multimeter resistance, is this correct?
    I then went onto replacing the sensor and the system went into defrost.

    Please advise
