anyone know what Hotpoint mean by “deep and shallow” when it comes to dispensers? model WFJ540P the one I want is the type with the integrated valves (ie no valve hoses) but am confused by the conversion possibilities. part number C00290776 or C00290783?

There are two different lengths of dispenser so I am guessing that is the deep and shallow ones, not seen them referred to as that before though. I have had problems in the past ordering the correct one and even johnnyj an Indesit franchise member has mentioned this. Do you have a commercial code and serial number Mark?

cc is 035168 screwed drum but dont have s/n.. the “deep” and “shallow” are the terms used in partfinder. I know what you mean about the longer dispenser but as this is listed as a conversion to a separate valve type then I would not think that applies.

Looks like you need to find out if it is Vogue 2/3 or Vogue 4.
Don’t ask, I have no idea. 🙁
