    Been to one today with clear iceblock grown around back of evaporator fan. This cable comes out of back wall of freezer not the multiplug in freezer compartment and was not clipped to anything. Pipe clip is present so clipped it to top of evaporator. Can see another sensor in evaporator coming from multiplug so is this the freezer sensor?

    yes it is, it is also foamed in so can’t be replaced.

    I clipped it onto the top rear pipe of evaporator centrally. Is this correct position? It was in the iceblock.
