    Hi,
    I have an AEG built in oven B3101-4-M / PNC 944 185 295.
The problem is when using the fan operating function (ring element fan) the element doesn’t heat up. The fan works fine!
I have replaced the element with a brand new part but I still have the same problem.

All other functions work perfectly (fan controlled defrosting, single and double grill and rotitherm roasting functions all with fine).

Would appreciate some advise on what it can be and the part need to purchase.

    Many thanks.

There’s probably a toc connected with the element ( thermal overload). Needs checking

    Hi Andy,
    Thanks for the info!
What’s the toc? Sorry don’t know much about these things!
    Cheers

Thermal cut out… Safety switch in series with element that cuts out the element if it senses overtemperature.

Would also check the selector switch, maybe one of the leafs on switch is defective/bad contact.
