    Hello,
I have a servis quartz machine but no manual and I can find one anywhere. (any ideas?)
Sometimes when i start a wash it goes through most of it and then stops without draining the drum.
It also sometimes doesn’t start at all and the programme starts
    flashing F 4.
when it actually does work, after a while it shorts out the electricity in the house and I have to flip the trip switch.
is this the machine or the electrics in my house – which are oldish
is this the thermostat or heater? will a new heater solve this?
Thanks so much for any help

Old? If you look carefully round the back there will be a label saying “Property of Noah” 😆 . The model number of the machine is located on the inner panel of the outer door, and also on the upper rear box section of the casing. The odds on getting a manual for this machine are virtually zero.

F4 was no motor action, usually caused by the drive motor carbon brushes wearing out.

If you don’t know how to proceed, please get some professional help – check Repairs@ or Directories for a local UKW engineer. If you’re going to have a look, pull the plug first :plug:

    Regards,
