Grill trips when turning selector to off after grill has been on for awhile. Changed selector still the same. If it was grill element & low on insulation as it warmed up would have thought it would trip as it warmed up. Any ideas please.

Possibly, on turning through the different sequences of the selector sometimes it breaks one side of the supply before the other for instance which may cause tripping. Best to get out the meter and test, check polarity to appliance. Check everything in circuit, perhaps fan or lamp couuld be at fault either.
