    Hi. Just want a bit of advice really.
    Went to one of these Indesit Idl530uk.3 d/washers as it needed a new lower door seal. Bought one, part number c00290247 including enclosed “destruction” leaflet. Looks identical to the old one (?) which is held to the tank via 3 spring clips and t`other end is crimped to the s/s door. The new one is once again held on with 3 spring clips but the instructions ( leaflet 8200971 ) say that the other end it is no longer crimped as original but is left up against the s/s door apparently unattached to anything??- obviously if instructions say this this is how it is but looks all kind of odd to me. Anyone else fitted one of these lower d/seals please?

    Update. Suprisingly the destructions that come with the seal are, as you`d imagine, correct i.e it works ok without any nasty leaks. All looks kinda odd that was all.
