Hotpoint WML 520P no heat

    Or more accurately practically no heat 😯 Customer complained machine sticks on wash and wont advance, put meter on heater terminals when it was on wash and got a couple of 230 volt bursts lasting a few seconds having sat staring at the meter for 10 mins or so 😕

    No dry joints on relays, even tried tapping relays when it was running but no joy.
    EMW dont seem to do these late small boards.

    Skip fodder ❓ 🙂

    Yes! For the PCB at the very least I would say. Though a few of the guys on here that stand steadfast in the face of adversity would be in there with their solder suckers and hot irons gently coaxing a new relay into position. Too much for me I have to admit and into the skip it goes. :clown:

    Probably where it’ll end up ,although I have had luck replacing the common 12v 5 pin relays used on this board I’m not convinced thats the problem, absolutely no sign of overheating.
