    anybody help on this wierd m/c.fridge part freezes. sensor sc so changed it .recalled to m/c same fault changed mod .fridge fires for a second or two and dies, put old mod back in m/c runs send mod back as faulty same thing happens with new one any ideas m

    Bit of an odd one machineman.

    I would suspect two faulty pcb’s to be honest, send one to QER or EMW (in the links section) and see if they find anything wrong with it 😉

    Hi
    new module will start the compressor for about 2 seconds on switch on,
    it then depends on the temp of the evaporator as to what it does next,
    freezing evaporator it starts a defost period heaters on for appox 30 mins before normal operation starts, stick the new/recon module back in and have h long cup of coffee with the customer. 🙂

    I did a board replacement (QER) on a CPCA291FFK that was frozen like the arctic. Compressor ran 2 secs only. Left job and had not heard compressor since only heater after waiting a while.Worried, Rang customer back 2 hrs later and she said was working fine.
