Hello
I appear to have a diverter valve fault after a stone somehow made it’s way in there. I have stripped the dishwasher down and stripped the valve but the stone must have made its way out.
The problem is that the spray arms don’t move as I think the circular part with the holes in it that diverts the water has moved out of sync when it was jammed and the cogs just slipped. I put it all back together but theres no way of knowing what position to put it back.
I tested the dishwasher and water only comes out of the top spray on the roof of the inside and theres a clicking noise.
can I remove the disk all together or replace the part. how do i test that its defo the part at fault. priced up a new valve for about £25.
is there a way of knowing how the disk needs to go in properly, and also what position the cog sits in the motor.
Not sure if any of this makes sense to anyone.
Regards
Steven
