    Hi,

    I would greatly appreciate any help available with an issue my washing machine has recently started having.

    The machine is a Zanussi ZKG 7165 and is c. 18months old.

    For some reason it doesn’t properly switch on anymore (at least not very often – it has done once since it appeared to stop working). I initially thought the problem may be the fuse, so I swapped both of these and also tried plugging it in through an extension cable to another socket. No luck.

    The LCD either doesn’t turn on at all or it might turn on very faintly, but regardless it clearly is not on enough that when I select a setting and press start nothing happens.

    Any ideas what the problem (and the solution!) might be?

    Let me know if more info needed.

    Internal connection problem most likely. Power off first then check ribbon connections between circuit boards and the connector block on the door lock.
