Called to look at this machine which customer said was drying OK but very little water in the container after completion. When the machine is switched on again, before a cycle is started, it proceeds to pump the rest of the water up to the container. This has only just started.
As it’s stacked and in a small space I thought someone could enlighten me before I delve any deeper.
This a machine with “self clean condenser” and the first I’ve seen of that type.

Oh you will love this one then. 😉

Debris in the pump chamber and channel leading to it from the condenser. Any sign of fluff, pet hairs or detritus of any kind will need scrupulously cleaning. Check the pump hose and inlet nozzle to the water container to ensure nothing you disturb gets stuck in there or could once you’ve left the premises….have fun! 😀

think the pump cover is under or just behind the motor

I did one of these a couple of weeks ago.
I removed the right hand panel off as you look at the front of the the machine. Unhooked the drive belt and then the pump is located behind the motor pulley. I can’t remember if it was a t20 or t15 screw that needed removing and then the pump unclips.
