I know this sounds very basic, but I’ve searched everywhere. How do you get to the bulb to replace it in this FF please? There is a (stupidly large gets in the way of pans) “translucent” orb at the top rear behind which the lamp sits, and a plastic panel which runs vertically all the way down the centre of the back, the top of which plastic panel meets the flange on the curve of the orb. I’ve tried un-clipping the orb and tugged at the edges of the long strip hoping it will come off to allow me access to the orb, but everything seems very stiff and I don’t want to break anything.
The manual states “REPLACING THE INTERIOR LIGHT Please contact service engineer to replace it. “ grrrr.
If I do ever get to it is there any reason I can’t put a led lamp in, size permitting? The only reason I can think of is that the FF electronics might not like any spikes generated from the electronics of a led lamp.(I think the original is incandescent, which is pretty much what I am, after trying to get to the lamp!)
    Any help gratefully received.
    thanks
    warren
