ParticipantWe have the above named model and found the pump was continuing to run.
We have taken it apart, cleaned out the pipes to and from the machine, checked the red float things are moving freely and cleaned out a huge blockage around the valve at the top of the manifold. Still not running.
I called an engineer this morning and left a message, then tested the machine and it ran perfectly. By the time the engineer called me back I was confident it was cured – loads of water and arms spinning freely. So I cancelled him.
Got to the end of the cycle and the machine didn’t switch itself off, still humming. Regretted the cancellation.
I have since tried running a rinse cycle and within a few minutes it beeped indicating it was finished. Tried resetting and running another cycle (65) and the pump just runs – no fill.
Feeling a bit wits end. The engineer said it could be a leak and he would probably be able to fix it without it costing more the the £65 call out charge. My thought is that we should be able to fix that ourselves.
One thing to note – the tap light on the top comes on intermittently, which as far as I understand, means there is no water coming into the machine. But there was earlier and I’ve not done anything to it since then!
I hope my long ramble makes sense. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you 🙂

The impellor jug (part no. 00424099) is the likely suspect. 😉

Is there a way of testing it? We have just moved the red float (Is that the aquastop?) and it’s running again.

No.

No again. That is the anti flood, the aquastop is the water inlet valve connected to the stop cock.
Is there any water in the base by the way?

We took apart the pressure chamber and found it to be pretty well blocked. A good clean out and it it is running like new again.
Thanks
