20 Year Old Indesit Spider
Hi there, new to this site so bear with me.
Have an old WN1069WG Indesit washer that’s spider(drum support) has died. Machine fine.
Anyone have a used one or substitute recommendation. Although I can find the part new, it’s a complete bearing Assem. and is the price of a new machine 🙁 . Getting desperate now & reluctant to scrap an old, quality machine, for some modern crap! Any help would be much appreciated.

No substitute, no chance of a used one, most would have corroded years ago and no one would strip one down for this part.
Putting a new one in would make much sense as giving a 90 year old a heart transplant. 🙁

I realise all too well Jim but your parallel was not appropriate when human life is likened to a ruddy 20yr old Indesit washing machine!

My 84 year old aunt is waiting for a triple by pass OP and to liken that to a friggin’ Indesit spider makes me wonder…. But if you insist in knowing if I agree with the fact the OP is flogging a dead horse then you have scored mega points in that I too do agree with your point albeit under sufferance. 🙁
