ParticipantHi, how do you remove the on/off switch from the BEKO DSFN1532 dishwasher? Currently the power button won’t stay pressed in and therefore I believe the power switch needs replacing. I’m having trouble removing the switch component from the white plastic housing…it seems to be secured to the on/off button somehow. Thanks.

The button is usually just a push fit. The switch itself is a simple click-fit type (no screws) Once the button is levered off, the lugs of the switch just fold in to release it out of the back of the fascia panel.

Martin, you are a superstar! I’ve managed to lift the button off just fine, but I’ll have to wait until later when I can get my narrow head pliers to squeeze the lugs together for removal of the switch. One last question…do you know if this part is a suitable replacement:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Beko-1883250100 … her+switch
It looks exactly the same as the current one except the red part is a cream colour on my existing switch. Incidentally, BEKO have said that I need part 1732090100, but that looks different to the one I’m replacing.
Many, many thanks for the help.

I’m not sure which one for that model TBH.
Perhaps one of my colleagues on reading this can help?

Have you looked at the ones shown in the shop on this website by the way?

I’ve had a look and the same part as the one on my previous amazon link (part no: 1883250100) is listed there too (albeit my dishwater model isn’t listed as one that its compatible with, but that said, neither is DSFN1530, which is listed on the amazon page). None of the other parts on this site look quite like the one I’m looking to replace. Therefore, I will order 1883250100 and hopefully that will fit. Thanks again.
